Tanner

Tanner

Not much can be found about Tanner. From what I could find is that this little town was home to the Tanner Sawmill. It operated from the 1900's to the 1960's. The town was situated along the old channel of the river.

What makes this place special is that it was at the crossing of the Milwaukee Road, Northern Pacific and Sunset Highway. Nothing remains of this place today except for some foundations. You can park here and walk the Snoqualmie trail (the old Milwaukee road) and view the remains of the Tanner mill.
